Product Introduction
1064nm IR narrow band pass filter is designed to allow only light with a wavelength of 1064nm while blocking other wavelengths in the infrared part of the electromagnetic spectrum from passing through. This type of filter is commonly used in various applications, including laser systems, spectroscopy, and telecommunications.
Our filter has a high transmission at the desired wavelength range (around 1064nm) and a high blocking capability for other wavelengths outside the selected range. Usually, we use dielectric materials such as silicon dioxide (SiO2), titanium dioxide (TiO2), and tantalum pentoxide (Ta2O5) to manufacture 1064nm IR narrow bandpass filters with hard coating and high-quality substrate material, which enables the filters to better optical performance with excellent temperature stability and durability.

Applications
1064nm IR narrow bandpass filters are used in a variety of applications where precise control of the spectral content of light in the infrared region around 1064nm is required. Some common applications include:
- Laser systems
- Spectroscopy
- Medical applications
- Industrial applications

How does 1064nm IR narrow bandpass filter apply in spectroscopy?
One of the main applications of 1064nm narrow bandpass filters in spectroscopy is Raman spectroscopy. In Raman spectroscopy, a laser is used to excite the molecules in a sample, emitting light at different wavelengths depending on the vibrations of the molecular bonds. By analyzing the emitted light, researchers can identify the molecular composition of the sample.
A laser emitting at a specific wavelength, typically around 1064nm, is directed onto the sample to perform Raman spectroscopy. The light scattered back from the sample is collected and passed through the filter, which only allows light within a specific wavelength range to pass through. This filtered light is then detected and analyzed to identify the spectral lines and determine the molecular composition of the sample.
Using a 1064nm narrow band pass filter in Raman spectroscopy is crucial because it allows researchers to selectively measure the intensity of the Raman scattered light while rejecting background fluorescence and other unwanted light. This improves the accuracy and sensitivity of Raman spectroscopy measurements.
