The difference between traditional mercury lamp and UVC LED
1.The luminescent medium is different
The light emitting medium of UVC-LED is LED lamp beads, and UV lamp uses ultraviolet light emitted by mercury lamp to achieve sterilization function.
2.Environmental protection is different
Ultraviolet mercury lamp is mercury lamp, mercury is highly toxic, once the mercury lamp is broken, mercury has a very serious harm to the human body and the environment, and UVC germicidal led uses LED lamp beads with small electric power consumption, fast start, long life, small size, good sterilization effect and other advantages, and in the use of the process of UVC-LED will not produce secondary pollution and very environmentally friendly, therefore, UVC-LED is being favored by more consumers. UVC-LED disinfection is a new sterilization method to replace the traditional UV mercury lamp.
3. The time required for disinfection and sterilization is different

The mercury lamp will also produce ozone and consume more power. In comparison,uvc germicidal led is obviously a better choice when disinfection is required.
